We went to PIM st gallery last week, and of course Union was full. Vin+ doesn't look inviting so we tried this new place called Barley and Hops that looks so hip but not in a superficial way. Apparently, this place rocks! It's a good value for your money. The steak is juicy and tender. I had low expectation on their soto and fried rice dish that my friends ordered. But, it turns out to be really good. Who would've thought a beer and steak place would have a great Indonesian menu selections. It has that kampong delish twist that suits any Indonesian palette. We'll definitely come again because the waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely amazing. And of course, the finale (drum roll) the beer was buy one and get one free. Ya we're sold.
