Atmosphere: great, especially for holding banquets or parties

Food: delish! Real Chinese flavors (most probably because they use pork and lard)

Customer service: very good service provided by the servers

Atmosphere: exactly as the restaurant suggests.... Like a shack! (and I do not mean the place, but the atmosphere...it didn't feel like dining in a decent restaurant, but more like a fish market)

Food: nothing special, just your regular street food, which doesn't even taste better than those street vendors or kaki lima eateries. Furthermore, I couldn't taste the Singkawang flavors they boast... I say so because my family is originally from that area and their cooking tastes much better!

Customer service: terrible...terrible...terrible!!!! Not customer oriented at all, more like profit oriented. It's obvious that the servers weren't given any training.

What exactly happened: our drinks never came, even until after approximately an hour and after asking, then demanding, them from the servers again and again and again. Other customers' order, which were made much later than us, were served much earlier. When we fist asked the server about them, she only said that we should wait a little longer. And wait we did, although it was for a much longer time than promised. We've probably asked several servers multiple times, but the result was the same... My father got really fed up with it and just exploded. We left soon after...still with empty stomaches and fueled anger and disappointment.

Conclusion: totally not recommended, unless you're willing to wait an hour to get your hot or iced teas out.
