Convivium Cafe Deli

They call themselves the 'homemade Italian cooking' place and we totally understand why. From the menu it is pretty clear that they explain how each sauce and pasta is special in its own way especially since it is homemade. The place makes you think that you are in a boutique deli especially with the ham slicer machine right on display or maybe even your own luxurious/dream kitchen.

This cozy venue has low ceiling with thick wood panelling on the ceiling, and can seat about 60 people and is an absolutely perfect place for a nice afternoon tea with a plate of their prosciutto and cheese panini as Convivium Cafe Deli does not serve any alcoholic beverages such as wine and spirits.

You can enjoy your pasta in 20 different ways in different shapes and sizes. From sauces using eggplant, meatballs, squid ink and much more, there is surely something for everybody here.

Their most sought after pasta is the Stracceti con Crema e Funghi, which is handkerchief homemade pasta served in a creamy and rich mushroom sauce. If cream sauce is not your favorite try the Tagliatelle ai Porcinin that is served with sauteed Porcini mushrooms. For those dabbling into into vegetarian-ism, Porcini mushroom in particular makes you not miss meat or poultry as the texture of the mushroom is quite similar. For meat lovers, we recommend the Roast Beef with olive oil, garlic and rosemary. The beef is cooked to your liking and is served with your choice of roast potato, spinach with butter, grilled vegetables or a fresh cherry tomato.
