If you want to open a modest and humble restaurant/café/bar and most importantly one that generates profit in one of the most exclusive neighborhood in Jakarta, Take notes from CASA. Situated above a bookstore in central Kemang , CASA has survived the ever changing competitions of new emerging concept bars and also the existing over hyped bars/restaurants that are surrounded in Kemang. Their concept is good food, service, location and simplification. This means they have simplified in terms of expressing the concept of CASA as a place where young minds socialize, mingle and work in a cozy living room setting, so it’s no wonder why customers keep coming back.
The offer in their menu is full of variety. A combination of all time favorite’s sandwiches, pastas, grilled menu, Asian food and of course their famous Flaky Pizza which is mouthwatering! We decided to try one of their customer’s favorite as well, the Balinese Nasi Campur, a dish that is pungent with flavor and generous in portion, it has kept its original flavor and presentation without any compromise. As they do with most of their dishes. Another reason to pop by CASA is because of their famous cocktails. The ROOJAK (based on Indonesia’s favorite dessert of fresh tropical fruits dipped in a spicy melted palm sugar) is their signature cocktail with spicy bird chilies and fruits muddled with vodka and liqueur. Another extraordinary cocktail is THAI ME UP, a rum based drink with basil and pomelo. These two drinks will knock your socks off! With over 40 cocktails served shaken or stirred, blended, creamy and muddled…you can’t go wrong with this place if you are a genuine cocktail lover and a foodie.
