Mirah Cibiuk has already established themselve as a household name in Bandung and Garut area. Now those in Bogor can enjoy their succulent traditional Sundanese food on Jl. Pangrango in Bogor. It lies strategically close to the Hotel Mirah at the end of the road in a minimalist-style building.

Like any good traditional Sundanese restaurants the dining area is mostly outside in a very lesehan style setting, sound of water flowing and Sundanese songs playing in the background. To start our Mirah Cibiuk experience we are targeting the most delicious and special food at this venue which is the Sambal Cibiuk, a portion of Nasi Tutug Oncom, Gurame Goreng Kipas plus the Reuceuh Bonteng.

Nasi Tutug Oncom Cibiuk is served in bamboo containers lined with banana leaf. The rice is stirred in with a traditional sambal and pungent oncom which is a typical Sundanese dish that's quite elusive these days.

Nasi Tutug Oncom delicacy is further added with a crunchy bite of Ikan Gurame Goreng Kipas. Gurame was very tender on the inside, crisp on the outside. Crunchy, tasty, spicy and simply delicious!

Another dish that really rare and thus cannot be missed out is the Reuceuh Bonteng. Reuceuh Bonteng is served with sliced cucumber, red peppers and red onion. It was little watery which makes it resemble to a cucumber salad.

Indulging a bite of spicy chili and sweet characteristic of Sundanese food was is overall a treat anytime. For those who want to reminisce the past Sundanese cuisine, they must pay a visit to Restaurant Mirah Cibiuk.
