Opened for business since 1991, Cafe Batu Jimbar is conveniently located on the main street and is one of the most renowned places to dine and chill in Sanur. The first compliment has to go to their relaxing interior, accented by wooden furniture and high ceilings which allows the cool breeze to flow into its premises. Patrons can choose to be seated both outdoors or inside on a comfortable couch, or right in front along the main street, sheltered under red parasols. Second their extensive menu, The menu is mostly dominated by Indonesian dishes, however you can also find an array of Indian, Mediterranean and other International dishes.

If you are seated and inclined to survey what other customers are having, you may notice that a majority of them have opted for the Lontong Complete dish, which is basically sticky rice served with a delicious coconut vegetable stock. Lontong is usually a rare find in Bali, where all the dishes are primarily pork, duck or seafood based.
