Katja Piring is a restaurant that carries the traditional recipe by combining Indonesian Javanese flavors with Malaysian. If we look at the exterior, their design resembles the old era. If you go inside, you will feel like in Dutch era.

One of the favorite menus at Katja Piring is Canai Bread with Chicken Curry which is very delicious. It has a very strong Malay flavors. The chicken curry in a thick seasoning served with thin and crispy Canai Bread. Other than that, they also have Mango Chicken Peranakan, fresh Oma Chen Sour Beef Ribs, Butter Prawn, Oatmeal Soft Shell Crab and many more.

Katja Piring has a variety of beverages, and their favorite is Es Teh Tarik (literary mean Pulled Ice Tea, a Malaysian tea) and Es Bengawan Solo. Es Bengawan Solo is an egg pudding shaped like a quail egg that comes with basil, longan, fresh strawberries, fresh grape and nata de coco, which will make you surely enjoy it. They also have many kinds of Es Campur and others.
