Nevertheless the opening of Paul Bakery at Pacific Place Mall has to be one of the most anticipated events in Jakarta as they are renowned internationally, with over 40 bakery-patisseries across the world, for their traditional French style bread.

As you enter, the scent of freshly made bread and the endless displays of croissants, country breads, tarts, eclairs and cakes at the counter will get you salivating before you even lay your hands on their menu.

Paul serves breakfast every single day from 7 am, and those who work in the SCBD area very lucky as they get a solid meal package of Breakfast bread with Coffee or OJ. You also have a choice of Croque-monsieur, Crepes, Waffles with chocolate sauce and the ultimate Omelette Complete, which is a 3 eggs omelette stuffed with turkey, mushrooms, potatoes and cheese served with fresh salad and tomatoes.

For lunch and dinner we ask that you must indulge in their amazing dessert and teatime offerings and try to sample as much of their tarts, Millefeuille, Macarons and Chocolate Eclairs. The Tarte aux myrtilles or simply called the blueberry tart has to be one of the star dishes at Paul. The tart-ness of the blueberry is not too acidic or overpowering, and at the same time the consistency and the texture of the filling with the buttery base is divine. Paul also offers some savory 'Light meals' such as the crowds’ favorite Crepe champignons, Tartine boeuf and the roasted chicken leg with aromatic herbs. Plus if you are wondering what the bright orange drink everyone has on their table with their main courses, it is their freshly squeezed carrot, orange and ginger concoction.
