Yakoya's all-you-can-eat concept is churning up some loyal followers, whom cannot get enough of their great value and their delicious signature Ponzu Sauce. You can also find some seriously good quality meat such as Kobe, Wagyu and Sirloin Shabu Shabu in their a la carte menu and while the prices may be steep for the specialty meat, they definitely make a good treat.

Don't get us wrong, Yakoya is not just a Shabu Shabu restaurant, they also serve an extensive range of Japanese dishes. Their Teppanyaki menu is another popular choice after the Shabu-Shabu and they have a fresh range of sashimi and sushi, as well as Udon noodles. For those whose offices are located nearby, Yakoya also dishes up some of the most amazing Bento lunches around. We recommend you go for their salmon and gindara/cod teriyaki served with rice, fruit, miso soup and a big bowl of salad.

Going back to their Shabu-Shabu, there is one side dish that sticks out, which seems to be out of place, but at the same time the customers love it, and that is their Rempeyek Kacang (Indonesian fried peanut crisps). While it is most definitely not Japanese, their local customers have grown accustomed to enjoying this dish whilst waiting for their Shabu-Shabu to boil.
