Craving for dim sum but not willing to sit on a fancy restaurant and endure the slow service? Then here is a suggestion you might like; pop by Senayan City, head to the 5th floor (food court) and get yourself some delicious and well prepared dim sum at Bamboo Dim Sum.
You can enjoy a variety of fried and steamed dim sum such as the favourites; Hakau, Siomay, Chasiaw Pao, succulent chicken feet and much more. We especially enjoyed their Hakau Sansi 3 Warna, which is basically your normal Hakau stuffed with carrots, wansui stem and mushrooms, all of which give an extra fresh flavour to the normal Hakau. Their Cha Siaw Pao stuffed with grilled chicken in red sauce is delicious as well, and the white bun is especially fluffy. From the fried section, we recommend the Bamboo special of deep fried bread, prawn, squid wrapped in Siomay skin which is crunchy on the outside and moist in the inside with seafood flavours.
If you want to eat all you want of the aforementioned dim sum, please visit their chain in Kelapa Gading and knock down a couple of dozen of bamboo steam baskets!
