Editorial Review
Often dominated by expats as a place to be after office hours and also to enjoy a few intimate conversations, Stix is a pretty extravagant place with simple design, sumptuous steak at an affordable price.
A number of spotlights are used to create a disco vibe for the crowd to unwind. Operating from 5 pm with Happy Hour until 8 pm, Stix will surely you give your night at the fullest.
The cuisine is basically good ol' American, and you will find a great selection of beefs such as US Prime and Black Angus Beef, Australian Wagyu Beef, Braised Australian Beef Shank, Barbequed Wagyu Beef, Short ribs and Beef Burger. To start up the night, a full plate of STIX Original Nachos can be the first kick to your belly. Nachos is served with 2 sauces, an avocado based named guacamole sauce and salsa sauce for dipping.
One of their succulent dishes is the 200 gram Tenderloin US Prime Beef served with veggies and choice of sauces. We recommend the mushroom sauce for the tenderloin steak. The 215 gram Sirloin US Prime Beef Steak was up next, this time black pepper sauce was the option to flood onto the flesh. If you are eager to try another sauce, try bearnaise sauce made from of clarified butter emulsified in egg yolks and flavored with herbs. The steak includes choice of potatoes too. Every month Stix features different steak promotion as Delights of the Month you will be sorry if you miss out on their greatoffer.
Their long list of beverages includes soft drinks, fruit juice, coffee, teas, flavored iced tea, beer, tequila, mocktails and cocktails. For a bit of fun try a glass of Pink Link, Aafresh mocktail made from guava juice, mango juice, pineapple juice, peach syrup with grenadine tastes so exotic. Overall Stix is a place that got a little bit of something for everyone and definitely do offer a different vibe for expats hang out place. Pop by, if it is not for the entertainment, then their culinary goodness.
