Vin+ has been synonymous in Jakarta as a one stop place to stock up on your wine and if you cannot wait to get home, you can open a bottle there and enjoy it with their delicious meals. Thus, it makes complete sense for those hankering for some steaks (at a reasonable price) and for a wide selection of really good wine to head over Mixx Grill at Central Park Mall. Located in the Tribeca area of the Central Park Mall, which is the courtyard section with open spaces overlooking the beautiful park, this area is perfect for those who need a break from the mall and the shops inside.

With the name like Mixx Grill you would expect to find mostly steaks and hamburgers on their menu but they also serve an array of Local, Western and Italian dishes as well. Start off with their hearty Mixx Grill Nachos or a Sausage Platter which includes chicken and beef sausages with Chorizo and their delightfully cooked roasted rosemary potatoes.

As for Mains, nothing goes better with a glass of red than good cut of US Black Angus tenderloin or their Beef Stroganoff. Although we couldn’t resist to pair the red with one of their best selling dishes which is the Spicy Beef Shank; which is basically fried beef shank smothered in local Balado style sauce, emping crackers served with rice and a bowl of local soup and it was appetizing. It was an unlikely combination but it worked.

Space wise, the interior of Mixx Grill and Vin+ is not very roomy but it is quite homely, you can sit among the stacks of wine bottles in the non-smoking area on the lower level or mingle with upstairs in the smoking section
