The Kimchi (traditional spicy preserved chinese cabbage) is less spicy and sweet compared to the ones served in south Korean restaurants. Simply put, Pyong Yang Restaurant in Jakarta offers traditional Korean food what The Koreans describe as 'food that our grandparents lived on'. Also when you look into their menus it is filled royal styled cuisines and also the much enjoyed (by Koreans) but highly controversial dog meat soup. We won't touch this issue with a ten foot pole.
