When the conversation turns to the topic of ice-creams, everyone has got their all time favourite. However, when it comes to premium, top of the line ice-cream in terms of taste and quality, one brand definitely stands out and only two words comes to mind, Haagen-Dazs.



Their original chocolate and coffee ice creams and signature rum raisin are arguably incomparable to the new competitors in town. Their philosophy, of using the freshest cream, skimmed milk and the finest ingredients from the world, is probably the biggest key to their longevity. Lucky for us Jakartans to enjoy our Haagen-Dazs desserts, we do not need to do it at home anymore, but we can also be sociable and visit several of their cozy and cool concept cafes located all over the city, like the one located on the first floor of Plaza Senayan. You are able to be exploratory with your scoops of Haagen-Dazs; in the form of ice cream sushi, accompanied with fresh fruits, cakes, patisserie and even in the form of a fondue.

For most of their items in the menu you can choose several out of 18 of their flavours; for example, the Waffle Wonder. You select four scoops of your favourites and it comes served with delicious waffles drizzled in maple syrup and chocolate sauce. They also provide a brownies version which will probably leave you guilt ridden all day.

Aside from their ice creams, you can enjoy their hot and cold beverages such as Rich Chocolate Milk, Cafe Belgian Mocha or a simply divine cappuccino with a slice of their Red Velvet Oreo cake. A not too sweet cake encrusted in crumbs of black oreo biscuits that is delightful with sweetened drinks.
