Cacaote is special. Full stop. Those few words are enough to describe this new place that has been responsible for the recent traffic on Jalan Senopati. And some may go as far to state that Cacaote is one of the best Patisseries in town, as you get a selection of some of the most imposing and distinctive patisseries you can think of. The best part of it all is - that this patisserie hires some of the most talented local chefs in town, and with their creative talents, you will think that their dishes are nothing short of magical. Although the popularity of their desserts is exceedingly hard to compete, we must say they have one of the best menus in town. They have 3 different types of menu, depending on certain times and days of the week you show up. We surely recommend the Cacaote Burger on their 11 to 5 weekend menu and the Morel Mushroon Risotto for dinner. Two absolutely stunning dishes!

Cacaote has a neo-classical French interior and like the French language, they incorporate masculine and feminine elements in their décor concept. The downstairs area, where the eye candy of delicious patisseries, cakes and macaroons are available is predominantly decorated in velvet curtains, blush pink and white furniture, very feminine and shabby-chic, perfect for high-tea and girly get-togethers. And while you are here, do not miss out on their amazing Passion fruit and Milk layered mousse cake. While upstairs, which is the smoking area, is dominated with a black and white masculine theme with the bar and a bold spiral staircase leading to the rooftop area- a perfect place to enjoy their awesome cocktails, some splendid selection of French wines and their rich and macho, sprinkle of gold dust in the jelly exterior dessert, called Dark and White with chocolate sponge, white chocolate mousse and chocolate glaze which is insanely delicious.

Overall this place is definitely 'magnifique!'
