Instead, you need to look towards the large black wall and you will see delicious mouth watering dishes scribbled on the walls with chalk. Once you are inside this modest cafe, you will find that the sound of the espresso machine and the smells of freshly cooked food are just too enticing. At a small cafe like this, the coffee is simply to die for as they serve the best of Indonesian coffee from Java and Sumatra.

Their delightful Big Breakfast dish is a hearty serve of mushrooms, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, hash brown and whole wheat toast. The best thing about their breakfast is the fresh ingredients and not to mention, the generous portion. Their hash brown is not the generic frozen type you get at the local supermarket, it is homemade mashed potato, sculpted into a block and then slightly pan fried. Delish!

Overall the menu at Antipodean is so very healthy. One healthy example is their Grilled Paprika Chicken with Chickpea Salad. The fresh chickpeas and tomato slices are served cold together with the warm grilled chicken fillets which are infused in turmeric. They even have a very healthy Beetroot and Nut Salad, Thai Beef Salad and a Burmese Shredded Chicken Salad. All the dishes are unique and the presentation of their food is very wholesome.
