If you are feeling a bit “Green” and want to hang out with a bunch of young and inspirational individuals, then 365 Eco Bar located in Kemang is probably the only bar that meets these criteria in Jakarta. As the name suggests, 365 is the only ‘eco-friendly’ bar and most of their furniture is stylishly transformed from recycled materials. Heck half of the structure of the building is made from a massive shipping container. This is a prime example that one can be green without losing any creativity along the way.

Another reason why 365 Eco Bar is one of the most well known bars in Kemang is because of the events they host, as they usually have very talented and emerging Dj’s spinning till the early hours. And based on our observation, they certainly bring in the vibrant and younger crowds with an equal mix of expats and locals. Check their Facebook page weekly to see the events they have on as some of those events can be pretty epic.

Aside from their nightly entertainment, 365 is also a great place to enjoy an early dinner (since they open at 5pm) in the alfresco area with your friends. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve some really great meals with the favorite being the Tenderloin Shish Kebab, a real winner hands down. The skewers of tenderloin cubes and vegetables are grilled to perfection and served over a bowl of warm rice. The portions are also generous and quite reasonably priced as well. Overall, their east and west combo menu is certainly another reason to visit 365 for a drink or two. As for their drinks, don’t ever leave without trying their Adios M.F, which is their version of Californian Long Island, and is one hard-core drink with 7 different types of spirits including Blue Curacao.

They also have special promos on spirits and cocktails on weekdays; that is everyday from 5 – 8 pm is “buy one get one free” for their drinks and Wednesdays are Ladies night which means free special cocktails for the ladies of course.
