CJ�s Bar has been around for over 10 years now and was once the �go to� place for teenagers and adults to dance the night away in the company of a variety of live music performances and dance tunes. However, since the opening of several hip clubs in Jakarta that draw in most of the youth, the bar slash club is now mostly frequented by adults and hotel guests.

The vibe however has remained the same, especially for those loyal customers coming from the era of Matabar and Zanzibar. A stage and a dance floor was all you needed back then to get the crowd going, no fancy décor but just the right crowd to elevate the atmosphere. Still with a city of 20 million at least, CJsâ��s still manages to not only survive but do pretty well for itself. They are equipped with room for over 670 and apart from live music performed by international bands,also offer R&B and TOP 40 music, which is a rare find in a city of house music fanatics. They offer a variety of drinks and were once known to serve the best Illusion cocktail or perhaps the only place at that time that served Illusion. Well there is one drink that is prized over there and that is Cincau, a mix of Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Baileys Rum, Blue Curacao, Kahlua, Peppermint Green & Triple Sec. Strong and minty, but a perfect dose of alcohol to start the night with.
