Culinary adventures in Bandung as we are all aware are never ending. There are always new eateries popping up from the luxurious ones to the stalls on the roadside. Seeing the many stalls that are scattered throughout the streets of Bandung, The Kiosk Food Market saw an opportunity to unite them into one convenient culinary spot.

The Kiosk Food Market is located inside the Braga City Walk shopping malls and a favorite hangout place for the locals. It is placed in a semi-outdoor concept that is always filled with visitors. Divided into two areas where one area replicates a European bistro and the other an outdoor area filled with plants.

The Kiosk Food Market has more than 15 stalls that serve a variety of foods. For Indonesian food they provide Chicken, Soto Sulung, Lotek Rujak Kampung, Mie Kocok and etc. For International food enthusiasts there is Pizza Cafe Asix and Beefy Chicken or Katsu Teriyaki from Clemmons.

From the wide variety of Indonesian dishes available, we tried a delcious looking plate of Nasi Bebek Bakar from Bebek Van Java. A plate of a quite large roasted duck served with warm rice and veggies. If duck is not your thing try a Steak Sirloin from Steak Gosha which is surprisingly good given that the meat was thin but quite wide.

When the sun goes down, the place transforms as there are live entertainment from street musicians. And if you are still hungry a variety of snacks like Pempek Palembang Rama, Baso Tahu Tegalega, Pisang Bakar Lembang, Tahu Gejrot Cirebon suited for your tummy plus the icy cold and fresh Es Kelapa Jeruk.
