As their name suggests, Tin Pan Alley is designed to look like a cafe inside an alley way and as such when you walk into the restaurant thinking that this is a small cafe then VOOM! You realise it isn't so small after all when you take into account their spacious and comfy dining settings and of course..the bar! The steel railings/fence around the bar is reminiscent of an old Hollywood Broadway stage especially with having the big light bulbs on top and along the bar counter....

You realise it isn't so small after all when you take into account their spacious and comfy dining settings and of course..the bar! The steel railings/fence around the bar is reminiscent of an old Hollywood Broadway stage especially with having the big light bulbs on top and along the bar counter. Classic tiled floors, white brick walls and a snugly environment makes Tin Pan Alley all that more special.
As for the selection of food at Tin Pan Alley, they have an impressive selection. We truly appreciate and salute this restaurant for having their own creative approach when it comes to their menu planning. They stick to classic favourites such as good old fashioned macaroni and cheese, Grandma's fried chicken dinner, and also have unique dishes such as Jambalaya. For starters, we recommend the Potato skin with a pint of beer. The deep fried and then baked potato skins are topped with a generous amount of cheese, roasted peppers, spinach and leaves you wanting more.
Tin Pan Alley also has a very good selection of sandwiches and burgers. If you think you can order an ordinary club sandwich here, then think again. At Tin Pan Alley you will get something called a Buffalo Chicken Burger which is layered with homemade BBQ sauce and a good helping of coleslaw. Or do try their Not- so-Ordinary Grilled sandwich. Why not ordinary? That is because of the generous amount of cheese that is bound to get you off your cheese cravings for a few days. But the most unique offering in our opinion would have to be the Pork Tenderloin Burger. We all have had a beef patty burger or deep fried chicken breast burger. But a pork tenderloin burger is basically pork crusted with cornflakes, then layered on top, a smooth slice of Emmental cheese and is served with homemade cranberry sauce. Simply Divine!
For a more healthier option, try the favourite amongst their customers, which is the Seared Barramundi with Papaya Mango Salsa. The 170 gram fillet of Barramundi is seared perfectly and covered in a generous amount of their Asian inspired sauce of lemon juice and 'secret' compote made from ripe mango and California papaya and served with potato wedges. The savoury and sweet flavour is makes for a 'firecracker' in your mouth.
Also check out Chef Rano Abryanto's special each month of really scrumptious and exciting dishes from appetizers, mains and desserts.
