Svana derives from an ancient Sanskrit word which means 'Sound'. And at this massage place, with the help of sound and the vibrations (that are borne from within these sounds), they offer a complete and unique relaxation massage that starts with neutralising your senses from the daily noise pollution and then works to balance your physical well being.
Located on Senopati's main street, Svana's signature treatment is the Sound Journey Massage where they use a Tibetan Singing bowl at the beginning of your treatment to neutralise you from all the pollution. The gentle sound slowly travels from one ear to another and it provides an indescribeable smoothing sensation to your body and soul. The Tibetan bowl is also placed on your hands and feet so that your body can feel the slight vibrations that it sends off.
This technique is then followed by a Lomi-Lomi massage which is suitable for those who wish to relieve headaches, muscle tension, insomnia, or emotional instability. This treatment is also known for enhancing your sleep quality as it activates your body's self-healing mechanism. The standard treatment is 90 minutes but if you feel like spoiling yourself the 210 minute session is also available and very tempting
All of their treatments guarantee total relaxation and really gets you in the mood to let it all go. The fact that there is no cheesy elevator music in the background, rather they play the sound of birds chirping and mild tropical rain, is a huge factor.
Aside from their treatments, they go all out of the way in terms of their interior design and quality of service. Their luxurious settings makes you feel like you are either in a five star resort or an a exclusive villa in a secluded island, instead of a populated chaotic city. They offer over 25 different types of services from body enhancers, massages, scrubs, spa packages, foot treatments and milk baths. Unfortunately except for the Reflexology services, all the other treatments are available to only female customers. This makes it bad news for their male clientele but good news for those who prefer a female exclusive venue.
