Everything that goes to the dining table, is what A Tavola literally means. They boast a unique concept of having both retail and restaurant under one roof. Their retail area offers Italian cooking products, such as olive oils, fresh homemade pasta, the famous Italian porcini wild mushroom, salamis and cheese.
A Tavola provides a place where diners can enjoy the original taste of Italian cuisine and for those who have ever had the luxury of traveling to Italy will have a sense of familiarity to the origins of its concept. The dim lighting and jazzy tune also fills the air with a romantic vibe.
The menu may seem quite foreign to newbies, however, the excellent regiment of staff is always ready to help you elaborate the contents of each menu item. A house specialty is homemade fresh pasta (Ravioli, Lasagna, Capeletti, Tagliatelle and gnocchi), Italian Cheese and Salami platters served with a glass of wine. Pasta Con Bottarga, essentially pasta served with Italian dried Caviar and Zuppa ai Funghi (wild porcini mushroom and champigno cream soup) served with two slices of bread. For desert we recommend the Pannacotta, Italian cream pudding, drizzled with chocolate melt and served with a cherry on top, if you haven't gone over the limit that is, but this appetizing desert will surely encourage you to make room for more.
A must try for all! Buon Appetitto!
