Recently making changes to their menu, Nutmegs now offers a truly amazing dining experience that should definitely not be forgotten and their al fresco style dining, also provides customers with a relaxing atmosphere.
Their theme this year is the philosophy of '3'. Case in point is their 3 Degree of ocean, which is essentially scallops on eggplant, caviar, grilled tuna nicoise and lobster risotto, that are presented in the most elegant and tantalizing way. Each element is spectacular and truly compliments the other. If you are in a carnivorous mood, go for elaborate '3' Triad of Meat, which is basically juicy beef shot ribs, succulent pork belly and lusciously cooked duck leg, served with crushed potatoes, quiche and veggies. They also serve a fusion of Asian dishes that are equally remarkable.
However, Nutmegs prized dish would have to be the lemongrass-skewered tuna with wok seared Asian greens, purple potato and passion fruit sauce. You will be amiably gob smacked, twice, first by the excellent presentation of the food and second, by the immaculate taste of this wonderful dish. The fresh passion fruit and purple potato also adds a delightful 'kick' to the tuna.
To ensure your gastronomical adventure, be sure to book a place in advance before heading down to the famous Nutmegs.
