Hammersonic is a metal and rock music festival held annually since 2012. They regularly invite huge bands around the world to perform live in Jakarta. Several bands that have performed in the festival included Bullet for My Valentine, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, and many other.

As preparation for their 2020 event on 27-28 March at Carnaval Beach Ancol, they announced that legendary American heavy metal band Slipknot will be part of the festival. Other line up will be announced in the future.
